The floorscape is installed at one of the entrances to the new retail development, on the line of the Medieval Town Wall; it’s inspiration is the rich, medieval history of the area.

Fine quality materials and craftsmanship have been used in the fabrication of the work. Subtle shades of heather and grey welsh slate, with a riven finish, complement the granite, limestone and terrazzo.

‘As a glassmaker I am very aware of the light within a space and I wanted the mirrored glass coins set into the floor to capture sunlight from the skylight above.’
